The American King of the Surf Guitar Richard Anthony Monsour was born on this day 1937, better known as Dick Dale. Dale was born in Boston, Massachusetts and is of Lebanese/Polish-Belarusian descent. He is best known for his fast reverberating style and the track Misirlou featured in Quentin Tarantino’s film Pulp Fiction.
