2008Take That’s Greatest Day began a week stint at the top of the UK Singles Chart. The song was the band’s eleventh UK number-one single.

2003Leave Right Now by Will Young became the UK Number One Single, where it stayed for 2-weeks. The song was replaced by Changes performed by Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne.

1980’s

1982Michael Jackson released his 6th album, Thriller! The album remains one of the biggest selling releases, if not the biggest, of all-time.  The LP produced 7 singles including Billie Jean, Beat It, Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ and Thriller.

1950’s

1954Let’s Have Another Party by Winifred Atwell began a 5-week reign at the top of the UK Singles Chart. The ragtime medley track gave pianist Atwell her first number one, becoming the first black person to claim the number one spot.
