1992 Eberneezer Goode by The Shamen became the UK Number One Single, where it stayed for 4 weeks. The song caused controversy due to its perceived endorsement of recreational drug use. Naughty, very naughty!

The debut album Ready to Die by The Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie) is 25 years old today! The LP was critically and commercially a hit, helping revitalise the East Coast hip hop scene. I’m not the biggest rap fan, but I found Ready to Die captivating.

Brevity is key with the recent Tony Molina album Kill the Lights. Molina impressively compacts great melodies and classy song writing into each track. In places has been compared to The Byrds and George Harrison. I was left wanting more…so listened to it again!
