1975 – Comedian Billy Connolly’s cover of Tammy Wynette’s D.I.V.O.R.C.E became the UK Number One Single, for one week. The song knocked David Bowie’s Space Oddity off the top spot, and was itself was replaced by Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
