The self-taught multi-instrumentalist Lee Moses never found the fame he deserved, but the 1971 album Time and Place is a worthy listen.  Moses often performed with Gladys Knight, probably upstaging her with his powerful vocals.  Includes some great covers.

The Stevie Ray Vaughan (and Double Trouble) album In Step was released 30 years ago today!  His last with Double Trouble was a critic’s favourite.   Blending rock and blues, In Step included Crossfire, The House Is Rockin’ and Tightrope.  Vaughan died the following year in a helicopter crash.  srvofficial.com
