It’s taken me 31 years to actually listen to the 10,000 Maniacs album In My Tribe. Released in 1987, Rolling Stone described the album as “a poetic, heartfelt message about social concerns such as alcoholism, child abuse and illiteracy.” Natalie Merchant sure can write a good tune. |
