When I heard that the young Belgian-Egyptian artist Tamino was being compared to Jeff Buckley my ears pricked up. Good looks, a falsetto voice, and emotionally evoking melodies, there are similarities. The debut LP, Amir, is defined by the incredible opener Habibi. Looking forward to seeing him live this month.

The 2nd album by the Australian indie rock band Gang of Youths, Go Farther in Lightness, released in August 2017 is a phenomenal piece of work. From the anthem What Can I Do if the Fire Goes Out? to the late album tender tracks, complete with string arrangements. Love this LP!
