1979Video Killed The Radio Star by The Buggles became the UK Number One Single, where it stayed for just one-week. The song famously was the first music video shown on MTV in the US at 12:01a.m. on 1 August 1981.

1950’s

1956A Woman In Love by Frankie Laine began a 4-week spell at the top of the UK Singles Chart. The biggest hit version globally of the song was recorded by The Four Aces.
