The 3rd Steve Miller Band album Brave New World is 50 years old today! The first LP following the departure of Boz Scaggs. My Dark Hour featured Paul McCartney and Space Cowboy had had a very similar riff to Lady Madonna. Solid LP. |

The 1998 Monster Magnet LP Powertrip is 20 years old today! The hit single Space Lord helped the album become a commercial success. The LP is about losing money, naked women and Vegas baby…a colossus in the stoner rock movement. All killer no filler! |
