The 1992 album Check Your Head by New York hip hop trio Beastie Boys used more instruments, and less samples, and new styles which music press found confusing. Personally, I’ve always loved this LP, and believe it’s some of their strongest output. Your thoughts? |

I loved the early music of Australian artist Xavier Rudd when introduced by my Aussie friends. However, in recent years I’ve felt musically he lost his way. His latest LP Storm Boy is a return to form. The opener, Walk Away is incredibly uplifting! Fan of Xavier? |
