On this day in music 6th November…
The Sex Pistols played their first official live show at London’s Saint Martins College on this day 1975. The performance was not without incident, as they trashed equipment loaned to them by the headline act Bazooka Joe. A brawl ensued and was a sign of things to come in the career of the punk outfit.

Their 1st post-Richey album was the outstanding Everything Must Go. Riding the wave of Britpop, the album, which featured 5 songs penned by Richey, was a huge commercial and critical success with lush epic anthems. |
