1974 – The American singer, and occasional actor, Meat Loaf was born (Marvin Lee Aday) in Dallas, Texas. The singer is best known for his album Bat Out Of Hell.
1960’s
1960 – Ricky Valance’s version of Tell Laura I Love Her became the UK Number One Single, where it remained for 3-weeks. Ray Peterson also released a version of the song in the same year, without the success of Valance.
