1964 – Herman’s Hermits I’m Into Something Good began a 2-week spell at Number One in the UK Singles Chart. The song was originally recorded by Earl-Jean of the Cookies on Colpix Records.

1958 – Carolina Moon by Connie Francis became the UK Number One Single, where it remained for 6 weeks. The song was written in 1924 by Joe Burke and Benny Davis, and was released as a double A-side with Stupid Cupid.
