The 1987 Stevie Wonder album Characters received mixed reviews and was not a huge commercial hit. The high water mark Wonder sets all will not glitter gold. Includes the singles Get It (with Michael Jackson), Skeletons and You Will Know. I enjoyed…you? |

The Big Brother and the Holding Company album Cheap Thrills is 50 years old today! The last album featuring Janis Joplin, is perhaps their finest moment. Despite the overdubbed crowd noise Cheap Thrills is one of the great rock LPs, mostly due to Joplin’s incredible vocals. Agree? |
