The drummer of The Rolling Stones, Charlie Watts was born on this day 1941 at University College Hospital in Bloomsbury, London. Watts drummed in London’s rhythm and blues clubs, where he met Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, and Keith Richards, and joined the band in 1963.
