2010’s

The Queen of Disco Donna Summer (born Donna Adrian Gaines) died of lung cancer at her home in Naples, Florida on this day 2012.  Summer was a five-time Grammy Award winner and is probably best remembered for her disco hits Love to Love You Baby and I Feel Love.

The 2000 D’Angelo album Voodoo is seen by many as the son of a preacher man’s career defining work. The album featured 5 singles, including the hit Untitled (How Does It Feel). I’ll be honest I’d never listened to D’Angelo before researching for the site but will check out other releases.
